Position Summary:
The Tactical Communications sector of L3Harris Communication Systems is in search of a qualified individual to become a vital member of our Software Design Verification team. This role is crucial for the organization's success, focusing on the system-level qualification testing of radio products and their complementary accessories. Reporting directly to a Software Engineering Manager, the individual will be accountable for ensuring that radio products meet high-quality standards before release.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct system-level qualification testing for radio products and their associated accessories.
- Perform both manual and automated testing procedures.
- Develop comprehensive test protocols.
- Create detailed defect analysis reports.
- Assist in hardware and software fault isolation.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, along with self-motivation and leadership qualities.
- Engage with internal and external contacts, including customers and vendors, as necessary.
- Clarify and interpret processes and procedures for others within and outside the department.
- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with at least 2 years of related experience. Alternatively, a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
- Experience in Software Testing.
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies.
- Networking experience, particularly with CISCO routers.
- Knowledge of RF hardware and radio communication systems, especially in Military communications.
- Possession of a DoD security clearance at the secret level or higher.
In compliance with pay transparency regulations, the salary range for this position is $61,000 - $114,000. This range is not a guarantee of compensation, as the final offer may vary based on factors such as experience and geographic location.
