Rehabilitation Therapist IV

The Rehabilitation Therapist IV performs highly complex rehabilitative therapy work, assisting in the development, implementation, and execution of a planned and assigned program of rehabilitative therapy. This role involves working under general supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of methods and techniques used in providing rehabilitation activities and services, as well as the ability to interact effectively with patients, family members, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the development, implementation, and execution of a planned and assigned program of rehabilitative therapy
Assist in training Rehabilitation Therapy Technicians in all aspects of their job
Provide instruction to patients in a variety of courses related to self-care, independent living, and character building
Maintain relationships with local colleges to assist in scheduling college visits for clients, as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Knowledge of methods and techniques used in providing rehabilitation activities and services
Ability to use necessary equipment to carry out rehabilitation activities
Ability to evaluate a patient's level of participation in programming
Ability to document progress and behavior appropriately
Ability to interact effectively with patients, family members, and staff
