Job Summary:

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and other advanced nursing care practices. You will work closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

You will be responsible for administering medications, implementing complex treatment plans, and maintaining timely and accurate patient records. Your expertise will also be utilized to educate patients and their families on the management of their acute or chronic conditions.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialized care for patients with medium to high acuity needs
  • Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans
  • Closely monitor vital signs, IV drips, and other key indicators
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
  • Educate patients and their families on condition management
  • Maintain timely and accurate patient records
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
  • Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
  • 1 year experience in stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or another medium to high acuity setting preferred
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications
  • Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
  • Proficient in electronic medical record systems
