Job Title: Home Health Aide

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to join our team at Ambercare. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Job Summary:

The Home Health Aide will be responsible for providing personal care and support to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. You will also assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and transportation to appointments. Our ideal candidate will have a nurturing and compassionate nature, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and transportation to appointments
  • Follow specific care plans for clients and report on completed tasks
  • Observe and report any changes in the client's condition
  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality at all times due to access to sensitive information
Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Must be a Certified Home Health or Personal Care Aide
  • Pre-employment physical examination/PPD prior to patient contact
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check
  • Must have reliable transportation; if by car, a valid driver's license and proof of insurance are required
