F-35 Maintenance Controller Job Description

Lockheed Martin Corporation is seeking a highly skilled F-35 Maintenance Controller to join our team at Ebbing Field in Fort Smith, Arkansas. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our F-35 aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Use aircraft data to project future maintenance events and perform scheduling, inspection tracking, and coordination of outside support.
  • Coordinate aircraft production efforts, provide technical assistance, and set maintenance priorities.
  • Prioritize general services, repairs, and overhauls of aircraft and aircraft engines to ensure safe flight operations.
  • Create and assign work-orders in the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) and accomplish aircraft safety of flight releases.
  • Plan and develop current flight schedules to maximize production and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • At least 6 years of overall fighter aircraft maintenance experience with a thorough understanding of Fighter Aircraft Systems and Operation.
  • At least 2 years of F-35 aircraft maintenance experience.
  • Knowledge of maintenance controller operations and experience with programs such as Aircraft Scheduling/Records Management, Job/Maintenance Control, and Configuration Control.
  • Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) experience and understanding of daily flight operations maintenance practices.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with Field Service Representatives and Maintenance Managers.
Security Clearance:

This position requires a government security clearance, and you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
