About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to join our team at Carters. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for upholding the company's mission, vision, and values while supporting a high-performing team that consistently delivers top-end results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with the team, management, and associates to drive financial results and maintain exceptional store standards.
  • Assist in hiring and recruiting to ensure open positions are filled in a timely manner.
  • Offer consistent, in-the-moment feedback to store team members to increase employee engagement.
  • Recognize and reward exceptional performance to drive results.
  • Partner with the Store Manager to address performance concerns of associates.
  • Maintain the Company standard of a neat, clean, and organized store.
  • Meet and demonstrate exceptional customer service behaviors and maintain high standards throughout the store.
  • Lead and execute an assigned Division of Responsibility (DOR) through planning and detailed follow-through.
  • Perform Leader on Duty responsibilities by driving results and responding to customer concerns in a timely and effective manner.
Requirements
  • High school degree or GED minimum requirement, Associates degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year in retail store management.
  • Demonstrated customer engagement skills.
  • Demonstrated strong listening, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Basic computer skills.
