Position Overview
We are currently considering candidates for the role of Civil Project Engineer II/III within our Energy & Renewables Group. This position is focused on engaging in land development projects for large-scale wind and solar energy initiatives across the nation. Although there may not be an immediate opening, we value your interest and will retain your information for future consideration.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Utilizing relevant software and AutoCAD Civil 3D technology to design various project components.
- Applying engineering principles and computational tools to perform calculations and resolve technical challenges.
- Drafting comprehensive reports that include detailed text and visual aids.
- Researching and specifying materials for projects, ensuring compliance with installation and inspection standards.
- Finalizing design details and preparing complete plan sets.
- Conducting research and compiling objective summary reports to support project execution.
- Assisting in the preparation of engineering and construction cost estimates.
- Carrying out field observations, inspections, and data collection as directed.
- Engaging with clients and collaborating with internal teams as required.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering or a closely related discipline.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in hydrology and hydraulics.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is preferred.
- Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) certification is advantageous.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is highly desirable.
- Strong technical writing capabilities.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship, both now and in the future.
