We are seeking an Industrial Metal Tradesperson to join our team in Greenwood, MS. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication, including cutting, welding, bending, and assembling various types of metals.

Job Description

This 2nd Level Metal Journeyman role is critical to the success of our projects, which range from commercial installations to custom metalwork. You will be responsible for working on complex metal fabrication projects, ensuring precision, quality, and safety in all tasks.

  • Fabricate, assemble, and install metal components according to blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Perform advanced metalwork, including welding, cutting, bending, and finishing, using a variety of tools and equipment.
  • Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications to ensure accurate work.
  • Collaborate with project managers and foremen to determine job priorities and timelines.
  • Ensure all metalwork meets quality standards, tolerances, and safety regulations.
  • Work with various metals including steel, aluminum, copper, and stainless steel.
  • Troubleshoot issues during fabrication or installation and propose effective solutions.
  • Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring they are in proper working condition.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and following OSHA regulations.
