Groundskeeper and Custodian

About the Job: As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our properties. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will ensure that our buildings and grounds are safe and welcoming for our tenants.

• Cleaning and Sanitizing: Responsible for sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming hallways, stairs, and other common areas. Also, cleans, disinfects, and maintains all public and office restrooms.
• Waste Management: Empties trash and garbage containers, and cautions tenants regarding complaints about excessive noise, disorderly conduct, or misuse of property.
• Snow Removal and Groundskeeping: Removes snow, applies salt, and clears debris from sidewalks. Also, mows, trims, and edges lawn areas, trims shrubbery, and cultivates flowers.

A high school diploma or equivalent, six to twelve months of related experience, and the ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic operations are required. Additionally, a valid Ohio driver's license and the ability to meet physical demands of the job are necessary.

Compensation: Estimated salary range is $40,000 - $50,000 per year, based on location and experience.
