About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Banquet Houseperson to join our team at Conrad Hotels & Resorts. As a Banquet Houseperson, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage services, providing exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Food and Beverage Operations: Assist with the setup and maintenance of banquet, meeting, and conference areas, ensuring that all equipment is in good working order and reporting any defects.
  • Maintain Cleanliness and Quality Standards: Clean and maintain all areas, including restrooms, floors, and equipment, to meet established cleanliness and quality standards.
  • Provide Exceptional Guest Experiences: Project a professional manner to guests and team members, ensuring that all interactions are friendly, courteous, and efficient.
  • Assist with Event Setups: Assist with the setup and breakdown of events, including food and beverage functions, to ensure that all areas are clean and well-maintained.
  • Lift and Push Banquet Equipment: Lift and push banquet equipment, including tables, chairs, and other heavy items, as required.
Requirements
  • Basic Knowledge of Meeting Rooms Setup: Have a basic understanding of meeting rooms setup, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.
  • Knowledge of Table Settings and Service Ware: Have knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware.
  • Excellent Organizational Skills: Possess excellent organizational skills, including the ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to Work in Outdoor Areas: Be able to work in outdoor areas, including patios and other external spaces.
  • Ability to Perform Under Pressure: Be able to perform under pressure effectively for extended periods of time while maintaining professionalism.
