Pediatric Therapist

Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is seeking a highly qualified School Psychologist to join our team. As a School Psychologist, you will play a critical role in providing counseling services to students and their parents, participating in a multi-tiered system of support, and collaborating with families and staff to support social and emotional development.
Responsibilities:
- Provide counseling services to students and their parents.
- Participate in a multi-tiered system of support for students with social/emotional and behavioral needs.
- Participate in initial IEP and annual IEP development as appropriate.
- Collaborate with and coach families and staff to support social and emotional development.
- Adhere to federal/state/local procedures for record keeping, eligibility documentation, timelines, and procedural safeguards.
- Develop and maintain a schedule to ensure compliance with all required meetings and services.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Psychology.
- Has obtained or is eligible for an endorsement as a School Psychologist as prescribed in the bylaws of the State Department of Education.
- Experience or specialized training in the field of pediatric mental health is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and maintain ethical and accountability standards.
- Demonstrates interpersonal skills, and communicates effectively and courteously both verbally and in writing.
- Has the ability to coordinate activities and work effectively with professional staff, support staff, parents, and representatives from agencies outside the school system.
