Cartographic Technologist

About the Job

We're seeking a skilled GIS analyst to join our team and contribute to the development of our fiber and copper network.

In this role, you'll work closely with our GIS team to maintain and support our network infrastructure.

Using Esri-based applications, you'll help solve complex geospatial problems and provide data-driven insights to inform business decisions.

Your Key Responsibilities

• \
• Produce and modify interactive Webmaps using Esri ArcGIS Portal.\
• Create static maps in a variety of formats using ArcGIS Pro.\
• Perform spatial analytics and reporting of GIS records for multiple departments.\
• Provide support and training for ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Portal Webmaps.\
• Assist in Windstream's GIS data migration.\

What You'll Need

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• \
• 1-2 years of GIS experience preferably using Esri products.\
• Experience in map creation and cartography principles.\
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.\
• Ability to multi-task and handle several ongoing projects.\
• Familiarity with telecommunications technologies.\
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Office.\
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.\

Compensation and Benefits

The starting compensation range for this job is $43,500 to $53,800.
