Job Summary

Consolidated Equipment Group is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for the assembly and repair of various equipment components, ensuring high-quality and timely workmanship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assembly and Repair: Assemble and repair equipment components, including drive heads, trenchers, and other machinery, using hand tools and equipment.
  • Quality Control: Inspect finished jobs for quality and accuracy, ensuring that all work meets company standards.
  • Maintenance and Housekeeping: Maintain all tools and equipment in the assembly and repair process area, and perform housekeeping duties as needed.
  • Training and Development: Train and educate less senior assemblers in completing their assembly projects, and assist in the development of new assembly procedures.
  • Teamwork and Flexibility: Work in a team environment, be flexible to move from job to job to support the schedule, and demonstrate ability to follow established safety and quality procedures.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in assembly and repair, preferably in a manufacturing or equipment assembly environment.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with hand tools, equipment operation, and quality control procedures.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certifications: Fork truck driving certification and overhead crane operation certification required.
