Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach undergraduate courses in the Health Sciences program at our Fort Wayne, IN campus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach pharmacology, immunology, endocrinology, toxicology, biomedical ethics, biomedical research methods, nutrition, microbiology, and anatomy courses.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to promote student learning and success.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum.
Qualifications
  • Doctorate degree in Health Science or Biology or a closely related field is preferred.
  • College-level teaching experience is preferred.
  • Clinical experience is preferred.
  • Experience teaching a variety of health science or biology courses is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population.
  • Demonstrated evidence of strong written and oral communication.
  • Experience with a Learning Management System.
  • Ability to use technology effectively in all aspects of their work, including teaching.
  • Support the mission, vision, and strategic plan of Indiana Institute of Technology.
Working Conditions

Work is normally performed in a classroom environment.
