Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Motherson. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and a proven track record of successfully managing supply chains.
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Manage commercial aspects of supply chain shortages, spot buys, and lead times.
- Develop and validate supplier spend data.
- Implement cost reduction projects using project management skills.
- Support commercial departments by participating in cost reduction initiatives with customers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in the automotive and/or railway industry.
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferably.
