About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Assessment Coordinator to join our team at Sierra Medical Center. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our geropsychiatric and medical detoxification programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough pre-admission assessments of geropsychiatric and medical detoxification candidates to determine appropriateness for admission
  • Collaborate with in-house staff to offer geropsychiatric and medical detoxification services to patients on other floors and units
  • Coordinate with staff to transfer patients promptly to the unit to ensure optimal patient care
  • Work closely with the department Medical Director to assure admissions are appropriate and treatment plans are consistent with program objectives

Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited college with a Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • Current licensure in the State of Nevada as a LCSW or RN
