About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate PACU Nurse to join our team at Mid-America Surgery Institute. As a PACU Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective care of patients postoperatively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patient care areas and ensure necessary equipment and supplies are provided
  • Monitor patients according to policy, including vital signs, temperature, and cardiac function
  • Perform and document head-to-toe evaluations of patients using an approved scoring system
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma or Higher degree in Nursing
  • 1+ years of nursing experience in a clinical setting, preferably in PACU, ICU, or Surgery
  • PALS certification (if required by the facility within 30 days of hire)
