Fri/Sat/Sun 7am-7pm
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The MRI Imaging Specialist is responsible for utilizing the resonant frequency characteristics of atoms within a magnetic field to produce detailed images of anatomical and physiological conditions. This critical role supports physicians in diagnosing various medical conditions.
The MRI Technologist conducts diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in compliance with established protocols under the supervision of a qualified Radiologist.
Providing comprehensive patient care, the MRI Technologist interacts with individuals across all age groups, including neonates, children, adults, and the elderly.
Qualifications:
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Completion of an AMA accredited Radiologic Technology program is mandatory.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
A minimum of one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist, with at least six months as an MRI Technologist preferred.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiography (R).
ADDITIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:
BLS certification is required. Advanced certification in MRI (MR) by the ARRT is preferred.
