Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL B Local Delivery Driver to join our team at Sysco. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering fresh produce to our customers in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver Fresh Produce: Safely operate a truck to deliver fresh produce to customers, ensuring that all products are handled and stored properly.
  • Manage Routes: Plan and execute daily routes to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
  • Communicate with Customers: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Maintain Equipment: Regularly inspect and maintain company equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Meet Productivity Goals: Meet or exceed productivity goals, including delivery times and product handling.
Requirements
  • CDL B License: Possess a valid CDL B license and a clean driving record.
  • Experience: One year of experience as a truck driver, preferably in a delivery role.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb on and off the truck, and work in a fast-paced environment.
