About the Role:
As a key member of the Infojini team, the RN Outpatient Surgery Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in an outpatient setting. This role requires a strong foundation in nursing principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized patient care, assessing and addressing the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
- Administer medications, perform routine medical procedures, and monitor patients' vital signs and medical conditions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure informed decision-making and optimal care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices that enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in outpatient surgery or a related field.
- Current RN license and BLS & ACLS certifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced setting.
