Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team at EverVet Partners. As a critical member of our medical team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional animal care and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians in medical and surgical procedures, ensuring the highest level of care and safety for our patients.
  • Restrain and handle animals of various species for examination and treatment, demonstrating a strong understanding of animal behavior and handling techniques.
  • Administer medications, collect laboratory samples, and perform other medical treatments as directed by veterinarians.
  • Take high-quality digital radiographs and import laboratory and radiographic data into patient medical records.
  • Manage and oversee medical treatments, including anesthesia, surgical, and dental procedures.
  • Ensure accurate and timely logging of controlled drugs and maintain accurate medical records.
Requirements
  • Veterinary Technician License Required
  • High School Diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent
  • Associate's degree in a related field preferred
  • At least one to two years' experience preferred
  • Experience handling a variety of animals
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
