Pediatric Anesthesia Specialist


Our Pediatric anesthesiologists hold Faculty appointments at the University of Pennsylvania's Perelman School of Medicine and operate within a collaborative care model alongside over 60 faculty members, 30 CRNAs, 11 pediatric anesthesiology fellows, and residents from various programs.

We perform approximately 35,000-40,000 procedures annually and are in the process of developing a new patient tower set to open in the near future.

Education Qualifications Doctorate in Medicine (MD) or Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Skills and Abilities Proficient understanding of hospital policies, practices, and protocols as well as relevant regulations and guidelines. Familiarity with computer systems and applications. (Required proficiency) Skills in exercising initiative, judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making. (Required proficiency) Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with medical and administrative staff, patients, and the public. (Required proficiency) Capacity to research and prepare comprehensive reports. (Required proficiency) Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and electronic). (Required proficiency)
