Speech-Language Pathologist Job Description

At CHSGa, we're seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll play a vital role in providing direct patient care and support duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide speech therapy patient care and additional support duties as indicated.
  • Contribute to a positive work team by sharing information, using problem-solving methods, and accepting new ideas, criticism, or advice from others.
  • Support activities as introduced by skilled nursing facility and Rehabilitation Services.
  • Demonstrate superior customer service through courtesy, consistent follow-up, and positive communication.
  • Utilize continuing education assistance to achieve targeted quality improvements.
  • Provide ongoing collaboration with the Rehabilitation Director and other disciplines to facilitate effective and efficient clinical case management.
Requirements:
  • At minimum, possess a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Possess a current, unencumbered, license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Georgia.
  • Prefer two (2) years experience in a skilled nursing facility rehabilitation environment, or equivalent.
