As a Culinary Specialist, you will immerse yourself in the world of craft beer while working in one of the most bustling breweries in Central Oregon. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing ingredients and cooking dishes in accordance with Crux's standards and recipes. You will ensure that all aspects of food preparation and cleanup are handled efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Culinary Specialist, you will:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of food items, including meats, fish, vegetables, and soups, while adhering to our quality standards.
  • Maintain an organized and sanitary workstation, ensuring compliance with kitchen rules and health regulations.
  • Stock and manage food supplies at your station to facilitate smooth service.
  • Follow proper presentation and garnishing techniques for all dishes.
  • Assist in the daily preparation of menu items, which may change regularly based on the kitchen manager's direction.
  • Produce visually appealing and nutritious meals while maintaining the highest standards of safety and cleanliness.
  • Support the setup and breakdown of your station and assist colleagues as needed.
  • Utilize traditional cooking methods and guide team members in safe equipment operation.
  • Ensure timely food production while maintaining quality and freshness.
  • Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless dining experience.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • A valid food handler's card
