KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: The primary duty is to efficiently execute cashier-related tasks while upholding the highest standards of customer service. Maintain a welcoming and professional atmosphere by greeting and acknowledging every customer and colleague. Accurately and promptly process all sales transactions and ensure proper cash management on a daily basis. Effectively relay customer service concerns and requests to management.

EXAMPLES OF TASKS:

  • Manage cash, checks, credit cards, and financing options.
  • Count cash drawers at the start and end of each shift, ensuring all transactions are accurate and cash balances are correct.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front office.
  • File daily invoices and verify out-of-state checks with the bank.
  • Confirm customer account details with the finance company.
  • Process special orders and handwritten tickets.
  • Accept payments for various transactions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to repetitively use arms, hands, and fingers; computer proficiency is necessary; basic math skills are essential; attention to detail is crucial; ability to communicate effectively and positively with both internal and external customers; knowledge of employment and safety protocols.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: To successfully perform the essential functions of this role, an employee must be capable of performing the following: stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, talking, listening, and repetitive motions.

Heavy Work: Ability to lift up to 10 lbs occasionally.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Indoor climate-controlled setting.
