Key Responsibilities

  • Support the general manager in reaching store sales targets as established by the organization.
  • Engage with customers to address any challenges that may arise.
  • Mentor and coach the sales team to achieve exceptional results through ongoing evaluation and guidance.
  • Conduct performance assessments and create development plans for each new sales team member.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to verify customer sales order details, delivery expectations, and products to be delivered.
  • Design and implement structured training programs for the sales team.
  • Monitor the sales floor to ensure adherence to sales protocols.
  • Review marketing and promotional initiatives with the sales team; ensure compliance.
  • Act as a Team Leader where support is needed.
  • Partner with the General Manager on sales reports to identify trends and conduct sales analysis.

Qualifications

  • A college degree in Marketing or Business is preferred.
  • Experience in Big Box retail, particularly in multi-unit settings.
  • Proven track record of managing large, diverse teams, including commission-based sales teams.
  • A leader who inspires performance rather than merely managing.
  • Demonstrated measurable sales improvements in previous roles.
  • Availability to work retail hours.
  • Desire to work in locations frequented by vacationers.
