Responsibilities- Plan, organize, and direct the activities of the ICU and ER departments to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards of care to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Monitor and evaluate departmental performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and hospital policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum three years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment.
- Current California RN license and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to deal with multiple priorities and short time frames.
