Direct Support Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team at Mercedes Diaz Homes Inc. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and community.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, assisting with daily living tasks, personal care, and social activities.
- Develop and implement individualized support plans to promote independence, self-advocacy, and community integration.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; relevant experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English; bilingual in English/Spanish a plus.
- Valid driver's license and California automobile insurance coverage required.
- Ability to work a mixed shift schedule, including evenings and weekends.
