KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Cleans components by removing small amounts of metal or ensures a precise fit between parts. Secures components together using bolts, screws, clips, rivets, or other fastening methods.
Installs dynamic components and verifies their free movement. Sets up piping or wiring as required. Aligns and integrates control valves into the assembled system. Conducts tests or assists in the evaluation of the finished product's functionality. Packages and labels products in accordance with customer expectations.

SAFETY PROTOCOLS
Utilize safety eyewear and steel-toed footwear. Acquire forklift training if necessary. Adhere to proper lifting methods. Engage in hazard communication training. Familiarize with emergency protocols.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE


A high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


LANGUAGE ABILITIES
Capability to read and understand simple instructions, brief correspondence, and memos. Ability to compose simple correspondence.

Ability to effectively communicate information in one-on-one and small group settings to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.


MATH SKILLS
Ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate rates, ratios, and percentages and to interpret bar graphs.

REASONING SKILLS
Ability to apply common sense understanding to execute instructions provided in written, oral, or diagrammatic form. Ability to address issues involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
