Employment Type: Full-time
Department: Heart Failure Program
Work Schedule: Daytime, Inpatient Care

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations, diagnoses, and management of both acute and chronic health conditions.
  • Encourage health promotion and preventive care strategies.
  • Work independently as well as collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Participate in direct patient care, research initiatives, advocacy efforts, and ongoing professional growth.

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid Georgia License as a Registered Professional Nurse.
  • Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Experience in a specialized field is preferred.

OR

Role Summary:

  • Deliver clinical assessments, treatment strategies, and patient education under the guidance of a supervising physician.
  • Execute emergency interventions and manage patient triage effectively.
  • Adhere to regulatory standards and fulfill medical education obligations.
  • Engage in patient advocacy, educational initiatives, and leadership roles.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an Accredited Physician Assistant Program with appropriate certification.
  • Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (CPR) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association.
  • Experience in a specialized area is preferred.
