Job Summary

The Medical Assistant I, Certified provides clinical and administrative support to healthcare teams in an outpatient setting. This role requires a strong foundation in medical assisting principles and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine clinical tasks, including vital sign collection, patient data collection, and specimen collection.
  • Assist healthcare providers with treatments, examinations, and procedures.
  • Administer medications and perform tests under the direction of a provider.
  • Review patient records and identify routine health screenings.
  • Prepare and maintain exam and treatment rooms.
  • Assist with patient registration, scheduling, and referrals.
Requirements
  • Medical Assistant certification by a recognized organization.
  • Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with patients and staff.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
