Nurse Supervisor Job Description

Gateway Post Acute is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our nursing department, you will be responsible for assessing resident care and managing facility employees in the provision of care and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess resident care and develop individualized care plans
  • Manage and supervise nursing staff to ensure high-quality care
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and services
  • Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
Requirements:
  • Current, active license as a Registered Nurse
  • 1 year experience in long-term geriatric nursing care experience and/or training preferred
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
