The Recruiting Coordinator plays a pivotal role in managing the recruitment process for our field transportation operations. This position collaborates closely with hiring managers and candidates to fulfill staffing needs effectively. The successful candidate will drive recruitment goals by identifying and assessing both active and passive candidates, facilitating interviews, and supporting the onboarding process. Additionally, this role will provide guidance to hiring managers on compliance and best practices in recruitment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the talent acquisition process, including recruitment, interviewing, and selection of qualified candidates for various roles. Work in partnership with managers to identify the necessary skills and competencies for open positions.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior leadership, hiring managers, and key stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor and expert in talent acquisition.
- Guide hiring managers through recruitment and selection processes while ensuring adherence to employment regulations.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies, utilizing referrals, job postings, direct sourcing, and networking to attract top talent.
- Conduct candidate screenings through phone and in-person interviews, both individually and in groups.
- Collaborate with the HR team to ensure all pre-employment and onboarding tasks are completed efficiently, including communication with internal hires and training for new employees.
- Monitor candidates throughout the recruitment process to ensure timely and accurate information submission.
- Support HRIS systems to maintain functionality and data integrity for recruitment and applicant tracking.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations, regularly reviewing policies and practices for alignment.
Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Human Resources, or a related field; or a combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the role's duties.
- At least one year of experience in Human Resources or Recruitment.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Friendly and professional demeanor.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
