Join Our Team as an MRI Technologist at MetroHealth

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated MRI Technologist to join our team at MetroHealth, a Level 1 Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center in Cleveland, Ohio.

About the Role

As an MRI Technologist at MetroHealth, you will be responsible for performing a variety of technical procedures utilizing MRI scanning equipment in the diagnosis of diseases in humans. You will provide a safe and supporting care environment for patients undergoing procedures involving the use of MRI, while assisting the radiologists and nursing staff during those procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI scans on patients to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for MRI procedures, including explaining the procedure and positioning them correctly
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images, while ensuring patient safety and comfort
  • Collaborate with radiologists and nursing staff to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis
  • Maintain accurate records of patient procedures and results
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology/MRI program
  • ARRT MRI or ARMRIT credential or obtains within one year of employment
  • BLS Certification from the AHA or obtains during the standard probationary period
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous MRI experience
  • Advanced certification through the ARRT or ARMRIT in MRI
  • Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or ARMRIT
