Clinical Social Worker

As a Clinical Social Worker with National Youth Advocate Program, you will work in the community as part of an integral service team, providing advocacy and support to youth, family, foster parents, and community partners. Under the general supervision of the Clinical Supervisor or designee, you will work closely with clients to provide evidence-based clinical services, including mental health services, and other required services.
Responsibilities
• Provide individual, group, and family mental health services, and other evidence-based clinical services as required.
• Travel daily to provide community-based services to youth and families in compliance with organizational, contract, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate and monitor clinical services for youth and families in the community, including mental health, special educational services, medication management, and psychological services.
• Regularly review and modify youth-based plans.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with foster parents and families of origin.
• Assist in family reunification and stabilization efforts with the youth's primary family or other permanent living arrangement consistent with the youth's case plan.
• Provide safety assessment, crisis response, and behavioral stabilization services as required.
Requirements
• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field from an accredited institution.
• A valid professional license (LSW) required.
• 2 years of work experience working in direct service with youth and families preferred.
• Must have flexible availability and willingness to work non-traditional hours as needed.
• Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smartphones, and tablets, printers, fax machines, and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs.
Driving and Vehicle Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable personal transportation
- Good driving record
- Minimum automobile insurance coverage of $100,000/$300,000 bodily injury liability
