We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Intern to join our team at The Shelly Company, a CRH company. As a Marketing Intern, you will play a key role in supporting our marketing efforts and contributing to the success of our visual communication and marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Create and develop multimedia content for internal company events, social media channels, product marketing, recruiting efforts, and other projects as needed.
- Assist in the final preparation for marketing materials, including proofreading, editing, and posting on sites.
- Support project/tradeshow/community outreach coordination.
- Assist in social media efforts by posting updates and contributing ideas, photos, and videos.
- Assist with administrative duties as needed.
- Create and modify documents using Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram required.
- Graphic design skills are a bonus.
- Some experience in basic video production.
- Experience with Premiere Pro preferred.
- Experience using a DSLR camera to create high-quality photos preferred.
- Basic understanding of marketing/communication tools and techniques.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or as part of a team.
- Excellent written/oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required.
- Must be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary.
- Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Manual of Safety Practices and Procedures.
- Strict adherence to Shelly Company policies and procedures as outlined in the Company Book of Policies.
- Flexibility and willingness to step in and provide hands-on assistance to team members as needed.
- Timely and regular attendance.
- Proficiency with Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Working towards a degree in Visual Communication, Public Relations, or similar degree plan from an accredited college or university.
