Poultry Care Specialist

Compensation:
$17.00 per hour
Incentives:
Additional $1.00 per hour for shifts worked between 7:00 PM and 11:59 PM. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00 AM and 4:59 AM.
Travel Requirements:
Daily travel to various ranch locations with a per diem of $5.10 provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately place chicks and manage pre-feed and feed processes.
- Remove deceased birds from poultry houses.
- Ensure proper leveling of drinkers and feeders.
- Perform essential maintenance tasks on ranch equipment.
Additional Duties:
Tasks may include picking up dead on arrival (DOA) birds, maintaining drinker levels, managing track and pan feeders, connecting track feeder systems, lubricating winches, hooper systems, feed motors, gearboxes, and performing fan maintenance and relocation as needed. Other responsibilities may be assigned by management.
