Job Summary

CT Assist is seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team in a locum tenens position. As a Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced medical environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced medical care to patients undergoing cardiovascular and thoracic surgery procedures
  • Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement care strategies
  • Participate in surgical procedures, including first assisting and patient rounding
  • Manage clinic coverage, including patient consultations and follow-up care
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in cardiothoracic/cardiovascular surgery or equivalent case volume
  • CA license/DEA preferred
  • EMR: Epic
  • EVH: Vasoview Hemopro 2
  • Competitive compensation ($80-$130/hr) and benefits packages
  • Certified by The Joint Commission
