Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Director to lead our maintenance team at one of our facilities in the Clarksburg, WV area. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, providing exceptional customer service, and driving business growth through process improvements and cost reduction initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hiring and Staff Management
    • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing maintenance team
    • Provide guidance and support to ensure team members meet performance expectations
  • Maintenance Services
    • Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to ensure optimal facility operations
    • Manage maintenance budgets and resources to achieve cost savings and efficiency gains
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure a positive customer experience through proactive communication and issue resolution
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders
  • Regulatory Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA, OBRA, NFPA, EPA, and JCAHO
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain regulatory compliance
  • Business Growth
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
    • Develop and implement initiatives to drive business growth and revenue enhancement

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • Associates degree in a related field or equivalent experience plus 3-5 years of related experience
    • Prior work experience in a related field plus at least 3 years of prior management/supervisory experience
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Proven track record of leadership and team management
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
