Job SummaryWe are seeking a Certified Surgical OR Tech PRN to join our team. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms, assisting surgeons and nurses with patient care, and maintaining a safe and sterile environment.
Responsibilities- Assist surgeons and nurses with patient care, including preparing patients for surgery and maintaining a safe and sterile environment
- Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and instruments, ensuring they are in good working order and properly sterilized
- Assist with surgical procedures, including passing instruments and supplies to the surgeon
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history, medications, and test results
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
- Surgical Tech Certification
- One year experience in an operating room setting (preferably in an ambulatory surgery center)
- Valid BCLS Certification
