Job Summary:This travel registered respiratory therapist position is a 13-week assignment with 40 hours per week. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:- Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, and asthma.
- Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis.
- Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program.
- Current licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the North Carolina Respiratory Care Board.
- Registration as a CRT or RRT.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
