Job Summary

We're looking for a detail-oriented and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to support our veterinarians and animal care team. As a Veterinary Assistant, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of our patients, from restraint and triage to lab sample collection and diagnostic imaging.

Responsibilities
  • Restrain pets for examination and treatment
  • Triage incoming patients and prioritize care
  • Collect and analyze lab samples
  • Assist with diagnostic imaging and anesthesia management
  • Provide nursing care for medical and hospitalized cases
  • Administer medications and communicate treatment plans with clients
Requirements
  • 1+ year of experience as a Veterinary Assistant
  • Compassionate and calm demeanor
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to properly restrain pets
  • Proficiency in sample collection, lab tests, and radiographs (bonus)
