Chief Medical Officer Kentucky

Eventus WholeHealth is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Medical Officer to lead our medical services across the state of Kentucky. As a key clinical leader, you will be responsible for upholding our mission to provide holistic care for medically vulnerable individuals, using our integrated model of care to achieve extraordinary outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead clinical compliance and quality for the state, coordinating with Auditing & Monitoring and Compliance teams on related initiatives.
- Identify and address barriers that affect physicians' ability to have timely note turnaround and create solutions to eliminate this barrier.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote communication amongst disciplines and reinforce the integrated model of care.
- Manage physician performance, including compliance, quality, customer service, productivity, PTO coverage, adherence to the clinical model, and value-based care initiatives.
- Work with the education department to develop and deliver training programs for the state and Eventus WholeHealth as a whole.
- Collaborate with the recruiting team to hire new physicians in the state and work with business development to secure new facility contracts across SNF/ALF care settings.
- Establish and maintain strategic relationships with outside medical entities, including hospitals, other healthcare providers, community primary care/specialty groups, and payors.
- Medical physician with board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.
- Unrestricted license to practice in the state of Kentucky.
- 5+ years of experience in long-term care.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively coach, motivate, and develop others.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Computer proficiency in MS Office, electronic health record systems, and other business technology tools.
