Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities


The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) is responsible for delivering both direct and indirect patient care services that necessitate clinical proficiency within the defined scope of practice, in accordance with state regulations.

Collaborating with the healthcare team and under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN), the LVN/LPN is dedicated to ensuring safety, enhancing patient comfort, and improving the overall patient experience in the emergency care environment.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

  • Possession of a current and valid state license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire and maintenance of this certification.
  • IV certification required upon hire; Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification is preferred.
  • Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire and maintained thereafter.
