Elwood Staffing, a leading staffing firm, is seeking a skilled recruiter to join their team in Columbus, IN. As a recruiter, you will work closely with a small team to place workers at manufacturing and distribution job sites within a 40-mile radius of the office location.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing incoming orders from clients and entering detailed job descriptions into the database
  • Writing and publishing enthusiastic, concise job descriptions to Elwood's website and public job boards
  • Utilizing social networks and industry connections to build a strong pipeline of candidates
  • Interviewing and offering jobs/communicating rejections to candidates in a legal, timely manner
  • Counseling, disciplining, and terminating temporary associates, when appropriate, and documenting according to standard operating procedures
  • Consistently making quality control calls to clients and associates to maintain an open channel for customer feedback and to address concerns
  • Creating, reviewing, and continually improving a strategic recruiting plan for the market
