Master Craftsman for Residential Construction

We are seeking a skilled Finish Carpenter to join our team at Volumetric Building Companies (VBC). Located in Philadelphia, PA, and with locations across the United States and Europe, we are a vertically integrated global leader in volumetric construction.
As a Finish Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in bringing our clients' visions to life. Your attention to detail and expertise in carpentry will ensure that every project is completed to the highest standards.
Responsibilities- Measure, mark, and arrange materials according to established layouts and blueprints.
- Cut and shape structures, forms, or other fixtures from wood, plastic, fiberglass, or drywall.
- Install baseboard, door & window casing, and crown molding with precision.
- Use various hand and power tools to securely build assigned projects.
- Join materials with the most appropriate nail, screw, staple, or adhesive.
- Evaluate the accuracy of work by checking completed projects with tools such as levels, surveying equipment, or framing squares; correct issues as needed.
- Install windows, cabinets, and doors with the utmost care.
- Avoid any safety hazards and adhere to local building codes and regulations.
- Able to comprehend instructions and read blueprints effectively.
- Solve mathematical problems quickly and accurately.
- Possess proper knowledge of tool maintenance and operation.
- Have a solid understanding of carpentry principles and methods.
- Excellent teamwork skills.
