Job OverviewAscend Rehab Services Inc is seeking a dedicated and passionate Full-Time Preschool Assistant to support our 'Little Miracles' Community Program in Livermore. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with developmental, learning, sensory processing, and language and communication disorders.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring and patient individual who is passionate about helping children develop and thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the daily activities of children with special needs
  • Assist in creating a fun and educational environment
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching staff to develop and implement individualized plans

Requirements:

  • 1-year minimum experience working with children ages 0-5 years old
  • CPR certification
  • A minimum of 6 ECE units preferred, but can also be enrolled or started after starting
  • Comfortable with diaper changing and assisting staff in cleaning up for the children
