Propane Installation Specialist

AmeriGas, the nation's largest propane distributor, is searching for a skilled Propane Installation Specialist to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading company in the propane industry. As a Propane Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and repairing propane tanks for residential and commercial clients while ensuring high safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have a valid class A or B CDL, hazmat and tanker endorsements, and excellent driving record. You will also need to pass a DOT physical, drug test, and background check.

• Safely operate a propane service vehicle with lift gate and boom along provided service routes
• Perform repairs on existing propane tanks for commercial and residential customers
• Install new propane tanks/systems for commercial and residential customers
• On an as-needed basis, perform Delivery Representative functions, such as delivering bulk or canister propane

In this role, you will consistently use required Personal Protective Equipment and adhere to all federal and state codes and regulations, as well as AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures.

• Valid class A or B CDL and willingness to obtain hazmat and tanker endorsements
• Acceptable driving record
• Satisfactory completion of a DOT physical, drug test, and background check
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 70lbs
