Job Summary

This is a full-time position that requires a licensed and/or certified Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will have current County Health Department approved CPR certification and experience in psychiatric care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide necessary care for patients, including administering medications and taking patient vitals
  • Record patient medical history and maintain confidentiality
  • Act as a liaison for patients and their families, ensuring effective communication and support
  • Monitor patient care and provide assistance as needed
  • Intercede on behalf of patients in situations requiring immediate action
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must be licensed and/or certified in the Commonwealth of Virginia or have multistate licensure privilege to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Current County Health Department approved CPR certification is also required.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in psychiatric care is preferred, but not required.
