We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at RadNet. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our radiology department.
Key Responsibilities- Ultrasound Procedures: Perform high-quality ultrasound procedures in accordance with current practices and department policies, ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Collaboration with Radiologists: Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures as needed, demonstrating a strong understanding of ultrasound technology and patient care.
- Instrumentation and Data Analysis: Understand the methods used to generate ultrasound data and the theory behind the instruments that detect, display, and store acoustic information.
- Patient Care: Monitor patients' well-being during exams, recognizing discomfort or medical problems and taking appropriate action to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
- Education and Certifications: Completed Ultrasound Technologist program with diploma, with preference given to those who have passed the SPI exam and hold current ARDMS certifications or AART (S) or ARRT (S) Eligible.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate effective and professional communication, interpersonal skills, and respect for patients, guests, and colleagues.
- Work Approach and Prioritization: Possess a structured work approach, understand complex problems, and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
